Russia says becomes net agriculture products exporter in 2020
MOSCOW, Mar 10 (PRIME) -- Russia became a net exporter of agricultural products in 2020, Deputy Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut said on Wednesday.
"Our imports amounted to U.S. $43 billion in 2013 and last year we imported $29.8 billion of agricultural products,” Lut said.
“Correspondingly, 2020 was the first year with a positive foreign trade balance, when exports of agricultural products exceeded imports of agricultural products. It was the first time in new history."
